John Juzek formerly in Prague Violin ca. 1970
This violin was made by the
John Juzek shop in Germany around 1970. The two-piece maple back
is of medium horizontal flame--the ribs and neck are of similar wood.
The two-piece spruce top is of fine to medium even grain. The top
has a sound post crack repaired with wooden cleats on the inside of the
top. Other than the repaired sound post crack, the instrument is
in excellent condition and has a very good tone. The violin was
set-up and the bridge carved by the Burlington Violin Shop of
Burlington, Vermont. Sale price: $425 |
