This violin is in very good condition with beautiful warm brown varnish with golden highlights.
It was made by Louis Krieckhaus in 1917 and labeled as number 146.  Apparently later the
same year he re-graduated the top and back.  Then in August, 1921, the violin
was again graduated by E. T. Lord, in Miami, Florida.  A peg box crack has been artistically
repaired with paisley shaped cheek patches of mahogany.
